cancellation/no show
ALL appointments require a valid card to be put on file in order to be booked and confirmed. Don’t worry: you will not be charged until the day of your appointment!
At The Wax Haven, we require a 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you cancel /reschedule within the 24 hours of your appointment start time, 50% of the service(s) booked will be charged to the card on file.
No Show/missed appointments will be charged at the full 100% of all services booked. In the rare circumstances you no show for a 2nd time or a your card comes back as declined, you will no longer be able to book future appointments.
*For those with outstanding late/reschedule/cancellation/no show fees: All fees must be paid before booking a new appointment!
Grace period/late arrival
Please arrive on time and allow yourself time to park or use the restroom. No additional guest are allowed. Unless the guest that is getting serviced is a minor, then a parent or guardian needs to be present. If you think you might be late, please give send a text message to see if you can still be accommodated.
You have a grace period of 7 minutes. However, please know if you arrive after this grace period, you may have to forfeit your slot. I do understand things happen. I will always do my best to accommodate your appointment. However, you may be asked to reschedule and still be charged a late fee of 50% if there is not enough time to service you.
menstrual cycle/SICKNESS
You CAN still wax while on your menstrual cycle: you are just required to wear a tampon, cup or menstrual disc. Being on your cycle is NOT grounds to try and cancel your booking less than 24 hours of your appointment without incurring a fee.
If you choose not to wax on your menstrual cycle, please plan your appointment accordingly. If that time is unpredictable, please wait to schedule until your cycle is over to avoid having to pay a cancellation fee.
*Please note that this policy also applies to sickness. We understand that sickness can happen suddenly and unexpectedly. However, the policy is in place to protect the business and our time.
